Governance

Standards for
how we work.

These commitments govern how ShinSato Group accepts engagements, evaluates evidence, communicates conclusions, and remains accountable.

01

Independence and conflicts

Potential engagements are screened for conflicts or circumstances that could impair—or reasonably appear to impair—independent judgment.

02

Confidentiality and purpose limitation

Client information is used for the agreed purpose, shared only as necessary, and handled according to applicable obligations and the engagement terms.

03

Evidence before conclusion

Findings distinguish documented evidence, professional judgment, assumptions, limitations, and matters that could not be verified.

04

Scope transparency

Objectives, applicable criteria, responsibilities, dependencies, exclusions, deliverables, and material limitations are established in writing.

05

Review and quality

Material conclusions are checked for internal consistency, traceability to evidence, and alignment with the agreed scope before delivery.

06

No unsupported assurance

Advisory and assessment work does not constitute legal advice, regulatory approval, certification, or a guarantee of compliance or security.

07

Responsible technology

Cybersecurity, privacy, resilience, human accountability, and potential misuse are considered when advising on technology and AI.

08

Concerns and accountability

Questions regarding ethics, privacy, security, or professional conduct may be raised directly and will be reviewed in good faith.

Clear advice is not
a guarantee.
